Is there a difference between CBD extracted from hemp and cannabis?

Yes. CBD is commonly extracted from federally legal hemp, which contains naturally occurring cannabinoids and very low levels of THC as defined by law. CBD extracted from marijuana comes from cannabis plants that may contain higher levels of THC and is regulated differently depending on state law.

Celestial Stem carries only hemp-derived CBD products that meet federal legal requirements. We do not sell cannabis or marijuana-derived products.

What does “Full Spectrum” vs. “THC-Free Broad Spectrum” mean?
