Essential oils can also be extracted from marijuana the same way they can be extracted from hemp. The oils made from marijuana are referred to as cannabis oil.
Cannabis oil may contain very low levels of CBD, but will also contain enough THC to cause a high. This makes cannabis oil a controlled substance and is not legal in all states.
We do not sell any products made from marijuana.
CBD that has been isolated and purified is known as CBD isolate. These only contain the isolated CBD, all of the other naturally occurring compounds like the additional cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids have been removed.
Isolates do provide some benefits but they are generally looked at as not as effective compared to full or broad spectrum.
CBD isolates can be consumed directly or used as an additive in oils, edibles and beverages.
We do not sell CBD Isolates.
We refer to oils that retain the natural balance of cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes found in the original hemp plant, as full spectrum oils. This combination of naturally occurring compounds lead to a synergistic increase in benefits called “entourage effect”. They also contain low levels of THC.
Phytocannabinoid-rich hemp is rich in CBD but still has very low traces of THC. The amount of THC is not high enough to produce any psychoactive effects, so it’s legal in most states.
Keep in mind that most companies do not remove the THC. It is legal but keep small amounts of THC in if it’s below a certain threshold.
We feel it’s important to offer THC Free options to our customers with our THC Free Broad Spectrum Products. Our third party testing provides a detailed account of what’s in our products, and more importantly what’s not in our products.
Yes! All animals except for insects have an endocannabinoid system; this includes your cats and dogs. Our furry friends can take advantage of all the same benefits that we experience while taking CBD. We have an informative article in our blog section called Endocannabinoid System in Pets.
Drug tests don’t test for CBD but they do test for THC. All of our products are lab tested to ensure they are within the legal THC thresholds. Full Spectrum contain < 0% - 0.3% THC and D9-THC. The THC levels on our Broad Spectrum is at a non detectable level. Since the quality of drug testing facilities are all over the map we can not guarantee your results. At Celestial Stem we believe in a ZERO RISK policy. If drug testing is an important issue for you we strongly suggest NOT using any type of CBD products.
